About

“I want to share my story with as many people as possible, inspiring them to make positive changes and to live a life where anything is possible.”

MY JOURNEY

When I was younger I loved to play sport. It was a huge positive outlet in my life and kept me out of trouble. When I stopped playing, I felt as though I didn’t have any purpose outside of sport. I then started to experience mental health issues, which continued on for many years. After dropping out of school I started using drugs and alcohol excessively. I was making terrible decisions and ended up in youth justice facilities and rehabilitation centres.

With the support from my family and friends I was able to turn my life around. This led me to attain a diploma in counselling with the goal to work with young people that are facing similar issues to what I faced. After years in youth work I decided to share my story with people to encourage them to seek help and improve their mental health and wellbeing. The positive results I have received so far, inspire me to keep going on this journey.

I shared my story and the work I’m doing at the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System in July 2019, which is one of my proudest achievements. I also volunteered with a lot of youth groups throughout South America and this gave me a whole new perspective on how people can achieve happiness with less.

I want to share my story with as many people as possible, to inspire them to make positive changes and to live a life where anything is possible.
